Dogs have always held a special place in the Wölfe story.

When our company was founded twelve years ago, our love of exceptional knives was matched by our love of dogs. That spirit became woven into our identity—from the name Wölfe to the paw print in our logo.

Over the years, we wanted that connection to mean more than a name or a symbol. So we made giving back to dogs in need part of the Wölfe legacy. A portion of every purchase helps support efforts to care for and protect dogs, providing them with the care, security, and opportunities they deserve.

In the spring of 2026, Big Dog Ranch Rescue led the charge to save 1,000 beagles from the animal testing site Ridglan Farms.

Earlier that winter, we donated a set of custom David Yellowhorse knives to Big Dog Ranch's fundraising gala, which sold for $35,000. We are proud to support Big Dog Ranch, and a portion of every sale goes towards their efforts and those of rescues like them to end animal cruelty and give dogs safe homes.

We are grateful to everyone who makes our efforts possible. With every Wölfe knife that finds its way into a home, our community helps extend our commitment to care beyond the kitchen.
